Stevie Nicks is an American singer song writer who got here start in the 1970's.  She then joined the band Fleetwood Mac and that band is one of the most well know rock and roll bands of the 70's and 80's.  Stevie Nicks in her solo career wrote the song Edge of Seventeen and the song is a written for her grieving over her uncle and helped the people of that time grieve or the murder of John Lennon.  I chose this song because this is a women helping basically the entire world have a way mourn over the loss of an icon and this just shows her power over music.

Led Zeppelin although is not considered a hardcore music. They were the first band to start the metal to hard rock era which eventually paved the way for hardcore rock groups around in the late 20th century and now the 21st century.  The song Black Dog which when it starts of it goes write into the high pitch singing of lead singer Robert Plant.   This is why I feel this should be in the hardcore category because it started an era of hardcore rock and hardcore music.

Amactive Melody's dubstep version of Awolnation's song Sail into an electronic version of this heavy metal song.  This DJ makes this song into a great bass heavy song with a way of keeping the original feel of the song but giving it the electronic techno feel to it.  I really enjoy this song do to that it sticks with the same tempo of the original but puts a cool twist on how changing the song enough to make it a nice bass heavy dubstep song and thats why I think it should be in the dubstep category.

Peter Frampton who wrote the song Show Me the Way uses a cool piece of technology called a Talk Box.  The talk box is an invention that gave the artist control of making sound that came from their mouth and control the sound with their guitars.  This piece of technology is a great advancement music an the way its sounds.  I think this would fit into the New Sound of Music category which Frampton had made the sound of the talk box familiar all over the world with this song.
